Common questions
Why does a reading need the internet?
It does not, for the numbers. Every chart, hexagram, draw and almanac page is computed on the device and works with the phone in flight mode. Only the reading written in words is composed by a language model, and that is the one part that asks for a connection.
The camera says it cannot see my hand.
Hold an open palm about a hand's width from the lens, fingers relaxed and slightly apart, in even light, with the whole hand inside the frame from wrist to fingertips. The reading is taken from proportion — the palm measured against the fingers — so a cropped hand cannot be read. Tap the button in the corner of the preview to turn the camera round if you are reading someone else's hand.
Why does feng shui ask for location?
Only to read the compass, so the app can tell you which of your eight sectors you are facing. Your position is never stored or sent. Decline it and the sectors are still computed; you simply have to know which way you are facing yourself.
Can I change my birth details?
Yes — Settings, or the line at the top of any chart screen. The hour matters: without it the hour pillar is missing and the chart is read from three pillars rather than four.
Is this fortune telling?
It is the traditional methods, computed honestly. The app follows 子平法 for BaZi, 朱熹《易学启蒙》 for where to read a hexagram, whole-sign houses for the natal chart, 八宅 for feng shui, 三停五眼 for the face, and the 通书 tables for the almanac. Where a table is silent, the app says so rather than inventing a verdict. It is for reflection, not for medical, legal or financial decisions.
