Auspice Privacy Policy

Auspice (宜时) computes the almanac, tarot draws, BaZi (四柱八字) charts, I Ching casts, natal charts, feng shui sectors, palm and face readings, and Book of Answers pages on your device. This policy says exactly what the app keeps and what, if anything, leaves your phone.
What we collect
Auspice has no account, no sign-in and no analytics. LazyingArt LLC does not store your questions, your birth details, your photographs or your readings.
Written readings. Every chart, hexagram, draw and almanac page is computed on the device. When you ask for a reading in words, the app sends your question and the computed facts of that reading — for example the cards drawn, or the four pillars — to our own reading service at oracle-fast.lazying.art, which holds the provider key so the app does not have to. The service forwards them to the language-model provider and keeps no copy of the content. Nothing else is sent, and nothing at all is sent while you are only using the practice screens.
What stays on your device
- Birth details — date, time, sex at birth and birthplace — entered for BaZi, astrology and feng shui. They are stored in the app's own storage and can be changed or cleared at any time from Settings.
- Your conversations. They are written to a file inside the app and never uploaded. Deleting a conversation deletes it; deleting the app deletes them all.
- The camera never records. Palmistry and face reading measure the live camera image in memory to find the twenty-one points of a hand or the mesh of a face. No photograph is taken, saved or uploaded, no face is recognised, and nothing is matched against any database. Only the resulting measurements — proportions and ratios — exist, and only while that screen is open.
Permissions
- Camera, only on the palmistry and face-reading screens, and only while you are on them.
- Location, on Android and iOS, only to read the compass on the feng shui screen. Your position is not stored and not sent anywhere; the app uses the heading alone.
Children
Auspice is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.
